Currently we are offering opportunities
for virtual assistants to volunteer to help build
this community. In return you will receive free
exposure, profiles, and advertising as well as
being featured on our volunteer page (coming soon).
In order to apply to be a volunteer,
you MUST be an active member (i.e., have a valid
listing on Elite Office Support as well as a link
back from your website) and be willing to commit
to the volunteer activity you agree to do. None
of the activities we are asking for help with
are overly time-consuming when broken up among
several people; however, I have been doing it
all to date, and have found it is definitely time
to delegate to really make this community valuable
to both virtual assistants and prospective clients
as well.
We will have periodic (probably
quarterly) online meetings via Yahoo, Skype or
our own chat room to discuss new ideas and innovations
that volunteers are interested in pursuing together
to continue to help promote the industry as well
as your own individual businesses.
Areas I need help with immediately
are:

Review article submissions
and reject/approve

Review submitted VA listings,
checking for correct links, complete information
and responding to people that need to submit
more information.

Moderate bulletin board

Review Member advertisements
submitted and approving for public view if
approved

Press Release review (only
Members will be able to submit via the Members
section)
